(KGTS) announces its first novel and unique Konkani Tiatr Workshop in the State of Kuwait on Tuesday, 6th February 2007 at 6:30 p.m.
The workshop intends to introduce groups and individuals to the techniques and theory of professional theatre. The workshop offers a solid introduction to the basics of Konkani Tiatr and the fundamental principles, and production & post production techniques of the art highlighting sound design, costume design, dramaturgy, stage management and playwriting.
The workshop will be conducted by one of the most successful playwright, Director, Actor and several awards winner of Konkani Tiatr, most popularly known as the King of Centuries, Roseferns.
The workshop entails in-depth discussion and question session on the salient features of Konkani Tiatr including:
Script writing, Direction, Rehearsals, Stage Setting, Lights, Background music, Cantos, Songs, Back Stage Requirements, Costumes, Make-Up, and Music.
The Conductor will also offer tips to the participants in discovering artistic solutions and developing their artistic skills.
Those interested in attending the workshops may register themselves with the Project Coordinator at KGTS.tiatrworkshop@hotmail.com immediately to a secure place and response from the Conductor to the any queries forwarded in relation to their areas of interest during the Workshop Question-Answer session.
